Woven Coats

For 2005, Paula and her design team have once again taken knit fur to a new level. This year’s Woven collection is classic and utterly flattering, with clean lines, shapely silhouettes and mink trim accents. Advances in the exclusive Lishman knitting techniques have led to a more refined fit, bringing the tailoring and style to a new level of sophistication. These elegant coats have a timeless beauty and are outstanding examples of the Paula Lishman designer pedigree.

Wisteria - NEW for 2005
.............................................................

The Wisteria stroller is trimmed with richly detailed pelting done in narrow stripes of several fur types and colours. Shown in red and ombre brick sheared beaver and raspberry fox, the highly textured collar, lapels and dramatic cuffs make a strong fashion statement. An alternative combination, black sheared beaver and matching mink, has a subtle elegance.

Wintersweet - NEW for 2005
.............................................................

The Wintersweet is the sister coat to the Wisteria, with the same styling and designer pelting, at a longer length (42”). The photograph shows pelting in a combination of sheared beaver, mink, and finn raccoon in “latte” colours. The extraordinary craftsmanship details give this coat a distinctive designer character.

Daffodil - NEW for 2005
.............................................................

The Daffodil features a new semi-raglan shoulder for a modern fit, flaring gently from the hip to create a subtle swing effect flattering many body types. The pelted collar and cuffs are in mink (as shown) or sheared beaver, and the curved collar looks classic whether up or down. (This collar and body style are also found on the Jasmine and Begonia coats.)

Jasmine - NEW for 2005
.............................................................

Like the Daffodil, the Jasmine has flared shaping below the hip, and fits neatly in the upper body. The mink or beaver pelted trim includes the collar, cuffs, and front facings. On facings and cuffs, the mink trim is mostly seen on the inside, with a narrow band of trim on the outside.

Begonia - NEW for 2005
.............................................................

The full-length version of the Daffodil and Jasmine, this style has a dramatic flare at the hem. Scalloped, pelted cuffs and pelted inner facings match the collar, shown here in mink (also available in sheared beaver).

Fern - NEW for 2005
.............................................................

The Fern has a woven shawl collar gathered into pelted mink (or beaver) trim that becomes the inner facings. Matching fur cuffs follow the curved shaping of the collar pelting. Subtle A-line shaping.

Camellia - NEW for 2005
.............................................................

The dramatic hood on the Camellia coat can be spread over the shoulders to make a cape collar. Like the Fern, the knit collar is gathered into pelted facings, echoed in the curved pelting on the cuffs. 52” long, generous A-line shaping.

Phlox - NEW for 2005
.............................................................

The ultimate versatile swing jacket featuring up to five interchangeable collars. Simple button attachments mean you can easily change the look of the garment. Each collar style is a different fur type and design. Collar B: 2” mink stand-up collar. Collar C: Finn raccoon, 4.75”. Collar D: red fox, 4” CB. Collar E: sheared beaver trimmed with red fox, 6.75” CB, Collar F: fox, 6.75” CB. The collars can also be worn over a sweater for even more fashion possibilities.

Mulberry, Moonflower, Mimosa - NEW for 2005
.............................................................

The Mulberry, Moonflower and Mimosa are the same classic hooded coat in three different lengths. Mink or beaver pelting trims the hood, facings and cuffs, with a narrow band of mink on the outer edge rolled into several inches of pelting on the inside edge. Slight A-line shaping.

Brahms
...........................................................

A large pelted shawl collar with fox piping contrasts the pinched-in waist of this slender, elegant coat.

Paganini
...........................................................

This delightful woven stroller features wedges of fox, in contrast with sheared beaver in the collar and cuff.

Strauss
...........................................................

This glamorous full length knit beaver coat is trimmed with exaggerated tufted fox collar and cuffs.

Tchaikovski
...........................................................

Bring on the cold! This coat in sheared beaver features knit-in fox “finger” details, outlining the sophisticated shape, while providing cozy warmth.

Tartini
...........................................................

Two in one! Worked with long hair plucked beaver, this reversible hooded parka allows full volume fox one way, or a hint of fox trim, the other.
